(event organizer and soon to be Eagle Scout) statement on the hunger
situation: "Thank you and please spread the awareness that hunger is
near and touches every walk of life. We serve Veterans, the elderly and
folks who have been laid off. Many are searching for work and doing
all they can and just need a hand. I have learned that the stereotypes
of hunger are wrong. It is near to all of us." |

let the tent's lack of population fool you! Most people waited in their cars until the start time. Bless those who manned the event tent! |
